Malerie Rose LL.B

Ms. Rose is a Mississauga family law lawyer, and the owner of Rose Family Law, which is situated in Clarkson Village. Ms. Rose attended the prestigious New York University BFA Theatre program, and obtained her LL.B from the University of Ottawa.  Ms. Rose was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006.

Since working as an articling student, Ms. Rose has practiced exclusively in the area of family law, dealing with complex property, support and custody and access issues.  Ms. Rose is  regularly called upon to mentor junior counsel.

Ms. Rose opened her own family law office in Missisauga, after years working in Toronto, as she is Mississauga resident.  Ms. Rose has significant experience dealing with high conflict matters. She is compassionate and understands that family law issues require a special type of advocacy and representation due to their intensely personal nature.  Ms. Rose encourages and works with her clients toward settlement, but when settlement is not an option, she leads her clients through the court process with assurance and competence, and is a fierce advocate for her clients.

Ms. Rose regularly appears at the Superior and Ontario Courts of Justice and has advocated at the Ontario Court of Appeal.  Ms. Rose has been a speaker at the Ontario Bar Association continuing legal education programs and has authored various papers that have been presented at such programs. Ms. Rose also appears on the “Together with Gila Yefet” TV Show as a regular guest to discuss family law issues.

Ms. Rose presents four  “Family Law 101” Seminars each year at the Halton Women’s Centre.

Rebecca Ying

Rebecca Jehanne Ying completed her bachelors degree at McGill University in International Development Studies and French Language and Literature. She attended Osgoode Hall Law School and articled with a mid-sized full-service Bay Street law firm. Rebecca was called to the Ontario Bar in 2015.

Throughout school and during her career, Rebecca has been interested in gender, race and other social justice issues inside and out of the legal profession. She was the 2012-2013 President of Osgoode Women’s Network and founded the inaugural “OWN Your Career” networking event. Rebecca thoroughly enjoyed her 8 months with the Parkdale Community Legal Services clinic program during law school. She has spent much time at home and abroad assisting vulnerable communities and continues to dedicate herself to local organizations. Rebecca looks forward to serving family law, child protection and wills and estates clients within Ontario.
